Ian has previously been a Chief Pharmacist of 3 Acute and mixed NHS Trusts. He also worked in community pharmacy, served a commission in the Royal Army Medical Corp and was a Chief Pharmacist of a Middle East hospital in Sharjah, UAE.
Whilst an NHS Chief Pharmacist he also had positions as a women’s health business manager, surgical general manager and Clinical Lead for Clinical Support Services.
Additionally he was, for a number of years, a Commission for Health Improvement inspector.
He has chaired a number of pharmacy regional committees in the South East of England and been a member of a number of national committees.
Ian has now retired from the NHS but is retaining a keen interest in NHS politics and organisational change whilst playing golf and enjoying a West Country lifestyle.
