Islam Elkonaissi is the Lead Lung Cancer and Clinical Commissioning Support Pharmacist at the Royal Marsden Hospital. He is a member of the UKCPA General Committee as well as the BOPA Executive Committee. Islam has always championed clinical leadership in pharmacy practice and as a member of the CPPE Hospital Pharmacy Advisory Panel, he has helped develop a leadership program for hospital pharmacists. Islam leads the new UKCPA Membership Committee, improving membership benefits, engaging with other healthcare organisations and building UKCPA’s influence within the clinical pharmacy world and beyond.
