Satyan Kotecha

Satyan Kotecha is a pharmacist with over 25 years of experience working in Community Pharmacy and strategic roles including as a PEC (Professional Executive Committee) Pharmacist, Chair of Leicestershire and Rutland Local Pharmaceutical Committee (LPC) and member of Warwickshire LPC. He is currently serving as Local Professional Network (LPN) Chair for pharmacy in the West Midlands NHSE (NHS England). Satyan also represents Warwickshire LPC on the Arden Area Prescribing Committee and is a member of the West Midlands Diabetes Expert Advisory Group. With a particular interest in Diabetes, he is currently working with local, regional and national leads on the development and delivery of structured education for healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes. Satyan has recently taken the role of Clinical Champion with Diabetes UK and plans to implement information prescriptions in primary care using the pharmacy workforce in emerging roles both in General Practice and Community Pharmacy.
