ARRIVAL BY ROAD

From the M4 junction 29, take the A48 signed Cardiff. Exit the A48 signed Cardiff East/Docks.

Stay in the left hand lane and follow signs for City A4161 to the roundabout. Take second exit at this roundabout onto Newport Road. Follow all the way along until you see the Mercure hotel on your left.

From the M4 junction 33, take the A4232 towards Cardiff Bay. Pass through the Queen’s Gate tunnel. On exiting the tunnel, take the first left at the large roundabout then right at the next smaller roundabout. Central link A4234 towards the city centre. Continue over the flyover. At set of lights situated at the end of the Central link turn right, keep in middle lane at next set of lights, with the Magistrates Court on your left. At traffic lights turn left onto Fitzalan Road and then your first right, the Holland House car park is 50 metres in front of you in the basement of the hotel.

CAR PARKING

There is limited underground car parking accessible at the rear of the Mercure Holland House Hotel but there is an NCP car park on Knox Road. Go past the hotel on your left and then take a left shortly afterwards at the NCP parking sign. It is only a 5 minute walk back to the hotel but be prepared with an umbrella or similar in case of inclement weather. If you do use the NCP car park then present your ticket at the hotel to obtain a discount ticket.

If a disabled Blue Badge holder and driving then contact the hotel directly in advance to enquire about arranging a reserved spot in the underground car park.

If you are arriving by car the night before the event you may wish to go directly to the NCP car park but will then need to walk back with your luggage. Alternatively, you could park up in the arrival bay immediately in front of the hotel to leave your bags. You could then enquire whether space is available in the hotel's underground car park and, if not, proceed to the NCP car park.
