Improvement of health services can focus on process, efficiency and safety but often neglects understanding the experience for patients. Experience-based co-design (EBCD) is a service improvement approach that specifically looks at the experience of those involved and re-designs services through partnership working between patients and healthcare professionals. This session will explore the impact that this approach could have on medicines optimisation. Catherine Dale is an international expert in this approach.
