Satellite Description

Medicines Optimisation in mental health – what can the pharmacy team do?

The aim of this satellite session is to share our knowledge and experience of how we have implemented national drivers and frameworks to improve medicines optimisation within the trust so that the pharmacy service delivered is optimised and designed around the patient journey.  We were one of only 2 mental health trusts in the country to be rated outstanding by the CQC and medicines optimisation was a key factor.  We will share with the audience our delivery models, key aspects of skill mix and our plans to grow further in the future through a clear plan and through the use of technology.
