Satellite Description

The session outlines a joint project between the Health innovation Network and RightBreathe being conducted in South London CCGs.  The objectives are:

•Education & training of health care professionals using RightBreathe website and App and signed off as competent.

•Patient centred assessment and support of adherence using RightBreathe App.

•Structured reviews in line with local and national guidelines by the community pharmacists and practice pharmacists.

•Promotion of effective inhaled therapy, review inhaler systems & promote smoking cessation.

•To engage GPs, practice nurses, practice & community pharmacists in uptake of inhaler technique assessment and training.

•To evaluate the impact of the pharmacists’ structured reviews on patient outcomes.
