Ensuring Quality in Homecare

Excellent way of keeping up to date with what is happening in respiratory medicine and offers plenty of opportunities for CPD.
Satellite sessions lead by speakers who really know their topics and left me feeling inspired.

Event Description

Pharmacy Management is coordinating an all-day Conference on behalf of the NHS National Homecare Medicines Committee.

The programme has been designed by the NHMC in conjunction with other Senior Pharmacists within NHSE and is very likely to be seen as a mandatory event for attendance by Acute Trust Hospitals. Additionally, Commissioners will be keen to keep abreast of latest developments and their impact on service delivery and budgets.

This will be the first major conference for some time on Homecare and within the current NHS environment it is bound to be highly relevant and topical in relation to maximising resources and delivering patient care cost-effectively.

The driving development for the Conference has been the production of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society document on complaints and incidents in homecare services.

The NHMC believes that this document will provide the opportunity to refocus on HOMECARE and our agenda has been created to attract and interest all stakeholders involved in this major NHS activity.

Reasons to consider attending;

  • Large audience of  significant and relevant NHS customers (Event promoted by NHMC)
  • Latest information of national guidance and interpretation
  • Both industry and NHS integrated into audience to facilitate exchange of views and understanding Production of Toolkit after the conference to interpret guidance and commercial implications
  • Professionally organised event to maximise time and information flow

Admission to this event will be by purchased ticket only. Tickets for NHS staff are £99 (=£82.50 + VAT).
