Speakers Richard Cattell (Deputy Chief Pharmaceutical Officer, NHS Improvement) Richard has been a pharmacist for 27 years, has been a Chief Pharmacist and a Chief Operating Officer and is currently the Deputy Chief Pharmaceutical Officer, and Chief Pharmacist at NHS Improvement. He is providing medicines leadership to the Medicines Safety Programme, which is the NHS in Englands response to the 3rd WHO Global Safety Challenge

The NHS has until April 2022 to respond to the 3rd WHO Global Patient Safety Challenge – Medication without Harm. This presentation will focus on the work being coordinated nationally to make a measurable reduction in harm associated with medicines.
