So is there an increase of developing DKA with certain medications?

The session will give a recap of the causes , symptoms and treatment of  DKA . It will then look at  recent evidence highlighting that some medications  may increase the risk of people developing DKA . We will examine the evidence behind this and see if  there are ways  to minimise it happening
