Three Treatment Targets (with emphasis on Diabetes)

The session aims to address the challenges that face practitioners when trying to attain the trifecta of targets (HbA1c, cholesterol and blood pressure) for our patients. With only 18% of type 1 diabetics and 40% of type 2 diabetics meeting all three targets in the 2015/2016 National Diabetes Audit there is work still to be done in managing the balance and focus of consultations and interventions. The session will be interactive and will provide the delegate with an opportunity to learn new tools, workshop scenarios, share ideas and get guidance on management of complex patients.
