14:30 - 15:10 Chief Pharmaceutical Officer Clinical Fellows The NHS celebrates its 70th birthday this year but do you really know the structure of the NHS and the different national organisations involved in its running? Or have you thought about how the £122 billion healthcare budget this year will trickle down to fund key services you provide for your patients? Join us as we describe our rollercoaster year working in the NHS at a national level through the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer’s Fellowship Scheme. We have had the unique opportunity to realise the leadership role pharmacy professionals bring to support the wider healthcare system and the development of strategic priorities. Find out about our roles, the projects we’ve been involved in, our experiences and the opportunities we’ve had in developing ourselves whilst working with senior leaders on projects with national and international impact. We’ll describe how you can start thinking like a leader from the start of your career and once you’re 4 years qualified, how you can apply for a life changing fellowship year too.
