Satellite Description

This session will look at the risks and benefits of anticoagulation in common situations including for VTE prevention, stroke prevention in AF, management of an acute VTE and long-term prevention of recurrent VTE. This will be delivered as a presentation followed by a workshop. At the end of the session participants should feel more confident in assessing risk vs benefit of anticoagulation for their patients either on or requiring anticoagulation and when to refer for more expert management.
