PM ACADEMY A regular series of fortnightly webinars to support professional development and enhancement of patient care by the sharing of best practice. Utilising PM Trainers from the successful Clinical Leadership in Pharmacy (CLIP) programme to deliver practical learning sessions of skills designed to aid personal and organisation development. To complement skills acquisition there will be a second session in the webinar to exchange best practice which will be delivered by presenters whose satellite sessions have been significantly oversubscribed at Pharmacy Management Conferences. It is anticipated the PM ACADEMY will be very popular so early registration for each webinar is recommended. This webinar has been sponsored by Orion Pharma UK Ltd who have had no input into the design or content of the webinar. This may result in us wanting greater autonomy and involvement in decision making as we move forward and there could be changes needed as to the way that we lead and follow as we come into the new normal. Yet it doesn't stop there, as patients will also be going through a change process during this difficult time - wanting to become more involved in respect of voice and input about their own health. In this session we will look at how we adapt our personal approach when trying to implement new ways of doing things, collaborating more effectively and getting people to embrace new processes, technology and the new status quo. We will get under the surface of how we decide whether we should make changes in our lives and use this to learn new lessons about how that should change how we work with colleagues and patients to make more effective, well supported and lasting changes to the workplace and to patient lifestyles. Planning for success in practice - John Hamill, Lead Practice Based Pharmacist, South Belfast Federation of GP Practices A look at how to maximise outcomes and consider the key concepts of best practice within Primary Care Pharmacy including:
