Join us on Wednesday18th May from 12.30pm - 2pm and listen to our expert speakers.

Mr Keith Roberts - Consultant Hepatobiliary and Pancreas Surgeon, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham will discuss Pancreatic Cancer and Pancreatic Exocrine Insufficiency and The RICOCHET Data. This session will:

  • Discuss the goals and objectives for the management of patients with pancreatic cancer
  • Discuss the burden of pancreatic exocrine insufficiency (PEI) and the management with pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT)
  • Explore current pathways and discharge methods in relation to patients with pancreatic cancer
  • Review the impact of managing PEI with PERT

Andrew Walker - Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist – Haematology / Oncology, The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust will discuss Optimising Patient Care - How Pharmacy Can Help. This session will discuss:

  • How pharmacists can work with the MDT to ensure that appropriate patients are prescribed PERT
  • Which stakeholders you need to engage with
  • What can be done to ensure patients are not missed?
