The High Cost Medicines Optimisation Group (HCMOG) is a new webinar programme that has been developed at the request of, and alongside, a faculty of NHS professionals to support understanding and best practice for high-cost and centrally commissioned medicines. The programme is aimed at High-Cost Drugs Pharmacists and Specialised Commissioning Pharmacists and the key aim is to provide learning opportunities across both clinical and skills-based topics. Malcolm Qualie, formerly Medicines Lead, Specialised Commissioning at NHSE will open the first webinar of the series with an overview on Specialised Commissioning and High Cost Drugs and what the future may hold.
