The joint annual conference of
Pharmacy Management and the
UK Clinical Pharmacy Association

The best of both organisations will be reflected in the expert-led, networking opportunities and poster displays.

Guided by a very senior group of pharmacists the contributions to the agenda of this unique event are equal in number from all of the countries and are designed to be at the leading edge of care delivery by pharmacists and pharmacy technicians at all levels.

The event has been developed by a Steering Group composed of colleagues from both organisations, and supported by a dedicated Project Team that will ensure the Annual Conference is delivered successfully.

The inaugural Pharmacy Together event in 2018 was a huge success and we built on this for 2019.

The Pharmacy Together 2020 conference will provide the pharmacy profession with an incomparable event that promises to deliver exceptional quality education and skills development for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians from all points on the patient pathway and professional colleagues within industry. It will enable and facilitate knowledge exchange and professional development for practitioners from primary and secondary care working across several areas of practice, bringing the sectors together to improve patient care.

Pharmacy Management and UKCPA have a successful history in working together to deliver high quality accessible national events for pharmacists working to improve medicines optimisation in the therapeutic areas of Respiratory, Diabetes, Cardiovascular and Care of the Elderly. The combination of the flagship annual conferences of each organisation builds on this success to enable a joining of their unique skills and experiences to deliver an exceptional event for the pharmacy profession and its partners.

Eligibility to attend

The event and associated refreshments are free-of-charge to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in all sectors including hospital pharmacy, primary care, community pharmacy and academia who provide services to healthcare organisations throughout the UK and overseas UKCPA pharmacist members. This is funded by using pooled contributions from commercial sponsors. No person’s place is directly linked to a particular sponsor. At the time of the event a transparency certificate will be available to all attendees showing the particular sponsors who have contributed to that event.

Please contact us here if you are a pharmacist or pharmacy technician and need any clarification on eligibility for a free delegate place. Pharmacy Management reserves the right to amend any booking that does not fulfil eligibility criteria.

MOST IMPORTANT

Please register to attend Pharmacy Together 2019 Annual Conference as soon as booking opens and select the sessions you wish to attend as soon as possible thereafter. This is essential to maximise your chance of getting a place on the topics of your first choice.

Places for topics must be booked in advance of the event. If you do not register for a topic you will not be able to join it on the day. This is necessary to ensure that we can demonstrate adherence to capacity limits and safety requirements.

This event is funded by pharmaceutical and other companies as shown separately through event sponsorship, sponsored topics, posters and exhibition stands. These companies have had no input into the design or content of the conference agenda. Thanks are extended to sponsors since, without their support, it would not be possible to provide the event.
