You can download the course brochure here.
Applications are open for Hospital Pharmacists, Prescribing Advisor, Community Pharmacists, Senior Pharmacy Technicians and Practice-based Pharmacists in North East England, Cumbria, Yorkshire or Humberside to be part of the first cohort of delegates from England on the Clinical Leadership in Pharmacy Programme. This unique opportunity across the whole pharmacy profession is only being offered in this region of England.
The Clinical Leadership in Pharmacy Programme is a comprehensive leadership series aiming to unlock the potential of our future pharmacy leaders. By embedding collective leadership behaviours within the pharmacy sector, this programme hopes to support our future leaders in maximising the opportunities created by health and social care integration and novel models of care.
The programme has been designed to meet the RPS Faculty competencies for Leadership, Management and Collaborative Working Relationships. In recognition of the high-quality training, delivered to recognised RPS standards and in line with the Advanced Pharmacy Framework, this programme has been granted RPS Faculty Accreditation. It has also recently been shortlisted for a HSJ 2018 Partnership Award.
As Pharmacy Management has been confirmed as part of the RPS ‘first wave’ of accredited Faculty Training Providers, programme delegates embarking on their Faculty journey will be supported throughout this programme to develop their portfolio for submission.
The online application process is now open and will close at 5pm on Friday 27 April 2018. Applications received after this time will not be considered.
Applications will undergo a scoring process; successful applicants will be informed in early May 2018.
These candidates will be invited to attend our programme launch event on the evening of Wednesday 23 May 2018 in York - an exciting opportunity to network with Senior Leaders in pharmacy from across the region and meet some of those who have attended, or contributed to, the CLIP programme in Scotland during 2016/17. Day 1 of the programme will follow on Thursday 24 May 2018.
There is an FAQ to help with the application process.
