Now in its twelfth half-yearly series, the PM Academy offers management and interpersonal skills training to NHS personnel in partnership with industry colleagues. Group sizes are limited to 30 in order to give all attendees a high quality experience.
The twelfth programme from the PM Academy is entitled Working Better Together: How to build multidisciplinary and multiagency teams to improve patient care. Its focus will be on how to deliver projects requiring the input of multiple teams or organisations. Course materials will support the training days.
There will be opportunity for professional networking within coffee breaks and lunch intervals. The networking and cross-fertilisation of experience greatly enhance the value of the day.
The course will be suitable for all Primary and Secondary Care pharmacy team members involved in providing Prescribing and Optimisation of Medicine advice.
There will be a training day in each of 7 locations across England, with further days in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Each day starts at 9.30 a.m.with registration for a 10.00 a.m. start and finishes at 4.00 p.m.
Attendance is FREE to NHS personnel and travel expenses will be reimbursed at standard rate (upon provision of appropriate receipts) for attendance at the location nearest to your place of work.
You can book PM Academy sessions through the Events tab on this website.
Previous workbooks can be found in the Library section of the website.
I really enjoyed the training day. It was very well run and the information that was delivered was useful. It was delivered in a way that meant it was an interesting and fun day. It was one of the best training days that I have ever attended.
