How does NICE drive practice in type 2 diabetes? With the introduction of a whole programme of NICE diabetes related guidelines in the last year the amount of information available to clinicians is considerable. This presentation aims to explain how the NICE Type 2 guideline has changed the management of Type 2 guidelines. It will address the conflict between targets set by QOF and the concept of patient specific targets. It will also look at whether there has been a change in the drugs that are being used and the order they are being used. | ||||
