This workshop will illustrate how the Inverness pilot, involving two GP practices and 14 community pharmacies, succeeded in increasing serial prescribing both at pace and scale over a number of months. It will look at how the project met a number of the key priorities of the Achieving Excellence in Pharmaceutical Care strategy, including:
Additionally, being a graduate of the Pharmacy Management Clinical Leadership in Pharmacy (CLIP) Programme in Scotland, I will describe how my CLIP experience and journey changed my approach to this and other projects and look at the key leadership skills that every pharmacist and technician should be looking to develop. |
