Event Description | ||||
Our popular annual celebration of all that is best in Scottish pharmaceutical care returns but with a new venue - with the Celtic Conference in Edinburgh the National Forum will be in Glasgow this year. The event and associated refreshments are free-of-charge to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in all sectors including hospital pharmacy, primary care, community pharmacy and academia who provide services to healthcare organisations throughout the UK. This is funded by using pooled contributions from commercial sponsors. No person’s place is directly linked to a particular sponsor. At the time of the event a transparency certificate will be available to all attendees showing the particular sponsors who have contributed to that event. Please contact us if you are a pharmacist or pharmacy technician and need any clarification on eligibility for a free delegate place. Pharmacy Management reserves the right to amend any booking that does not fulfil eligibility criteria. STOP PRESS: We have been able to secure an extra satellite. From 08:50 to 09:20 David Thomson (Lead Pharmacist, Community Pharmacy Development & Governance, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde) will lead a session on "Upholding the standard of professional practice in a challenging environment". David will argue that pharmacy is "a mighty force for good that others will want to engage with; a force with the solutions, not the problems; a force with the knowledge and expertise keen to apply in practice; with patients at the heart of our enterprise " Spaces in this session will be limited but if you would like to attend please email Katie Fraser to book your space. Please note that satellite places must be booked in advance of the event. If you do not register for a satellite you will not be able to join it on the day. This is necessary to ensure that we can demonstrate adherence to capacity limits and safety requirements. | ||||
