Event Description
The Celtic Conference will be hosted virtually by PM in March 2022, with Northern Ireland as the host nation. Launched in Edinburgh in 2019 the Conference visits each of the Celtic nations on a three-year cycle. The theme for 2022 is: Integration within Pharmacy. With Health Boards covering Primary and Secondary Care in all three Celtic Nations the platform for development of pharmacy skills across the interface is established. COVID has reinforced the immensely important contribution that pharmacy makes from Community Pharmacy through to Specialist Clinical Pharmacists working in Acute Hospitals. Our programme is supported at the highest level in pharmacy with Chief Pharmaceutical Officers of all three nations having been involved in previous Celtic Conferences. A professional Steering Group has worked with Pharmacy Management to devise the programme for 2022 and the full agenda will be announced in the coming weeks.
