Terms and conditions

  • The personal data that we hold on you can be viewed at any time by accessing your profile.
  • These data are used to verify our compliance with legal and regulatory standards. To that extent, some data cannot be amended. If you believe that there is an error in data that you cannot amend, please contact our office to discuss the matter. Any such data are disposed of securely three years after collection.
  • We may mail our database from time to time for market research or marketing purposes, or on behalf of third-party commercial organisations. You are not obliged to agree to receiving any marketing messages and can manage this yourself within your personal profile on this website. Alternatively, you can choose to unsubscribe by clicking on the unsubscribe link that features on all PM Healthcare mailings. We may employ agencies to manage our mailings, stage our events and manage our website. These companies have given assurances that they will manage any personal data to which they have access in accordance with UK Data Protection legislation.
  • We must ensure that our events are open only to people in appropriate categories. We therefore require booking through this website to ensure that all attendees are correctly listed on any disclosures we make. If you register for an event you will be deemed to have agreed to this condition but you will have 7 days (or less if the event takes place first) to withdraw your application. You are not obliged to agree to receiving any marketing messages on behalf of PM Healthcare as a result and can manage this yourself within your personal profile on this website.
  • The information supplied as part of the registration process will be used for the purpose of event administration such as sending the joining instructions, evaluations in the case of digital events and follow up post event emails. We are required to make certain information available to sponsoring companies. Your name, role and organisation will be used to compile a delegate list which may be published on the event website, distributed electronically to sponsors and those organising the event and distributed as a hard copy to all attendees at live events.
  • When joining digital events we ask that you ensure that your name is visible. This enables us to validate that all attending delegates are appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Once you have registered for an event you may receive promotional material sent by email by PM Healthcare before or after the event on behalf of sponsoring companies in relation to sessions within the agenda supported by those companies.
  • If you have agreed to receive emails from PM Healthcare, these may include promotional material sent by PM Healthcare on behalf of other companies connected to our activities. You can opt out from such emails without having to opt out from all our mails by contacting [email protected]
  • Any bursary does not include personal arrangements such as travel, accommodation or subsistence. (Refreshments and lunch will be provided during the event itself as stated on the agenda.)
  • PM Healthcare's bursary policy is administered at our sole discretion. Bursaries are not transferable.
  • Bursary places are granted to enable FREE attendance at our events. If however your circumstances change and you are unable to attend we require cancellation 7 days prior to the event. Failure to do this will result in an invoice for £90 + VAT being issued to yourself or your organisation to meet our non-recoverable costs. Please note, there are no cancellation charges for webinars and virtual events.
  • Photographs and video may be taken at events for use in print and/or hard copy or electronic publicity or distribution after the event in the case of virtual events. Anybody not wishing to have their photograph reproduced or any written questions shown during virtual webinar recordings should provide notification in advance to info@pmhealthcare.co.uk or inform the registration desk on the day.
  • Views and opinions expressed in presentations or in our journals are those of the speakers or authors concerned and are not necessarily accepted or endorsed by PM Healthcare.
  • PM Healthcare reserves the right to vary, reschedule or cancel all or any part of the event where the occasion necessitates, or for circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such an event, PM Healthcare will notify ticket holders, and will endeavour to make appropriate alternative arrangements. Any variation or rescheduling of the event will not entitle ticket holders to a refund. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit or exclude any liability of PM Healthcare for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud or for other type of liability which cannot be limited or excluded by law. PM Healthcar is not liable for any costs incurred by delegates should the event need to be cancelled.
  • Your consent to these terms and conditions is recorded.
